Kim Stewart

Change can happen — let's talk about that.

Kim Stewart is a Registered Psychiatric Nurse and Psychotherapist with extensive front-line experience in crisis centres, hospital psychiatry, and community mental health. Her background spans work with military personnel, police, teachers, and therapists, as well as survivors of domestic abuse, sexual abuse, and infidelity. Kim is the owner of Fergus Counselling and brings a deeply holistic, trauma-informed lens to every session.

Kim uses a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework alongside mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and somatic awareness to help clients understand their patterns, regulate their emotions, and move toward meaningful change. She also offers workplace therapy and group facilitation for teams navigating difficult transitions or trauma.

Kim sees clients in person at 160 St. David Street South, Fergus, and is also available for Telehealth sessions. She is currently accepting new clients. To reach Kim directly, call 519-710-3456 or email [email protected].

Joy Mackey

Helping you embrace your authentic self with compassion and confidence.

Joy is a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO #17369) specializing in neurodivergent support, ADHD, anxiety, and adolescent and young adult therapy, using somatic, yoga-informed, and CBT approaches. At Guelph Counselling & Wellness, Joy creates a safe, compassionate, and judgement-free space where clients can gain awareness, build confidence, and navigate life's challenges with genuine support.

Joy works with a wide range of clients — including adolescents, young adults, couples, and families — and has a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD. Her integrative approach draws on somatic and yoga therapy, walk-and-talk therapy, anxiety therapy, and athletic performance coaching, always tailored to the unique needs and goals of each person she works with.

With 29 years as a teacher, Joy brings a rare depth of understanding to the challenges educators and helping professionals face. She compassionately addresses workplace burnout, supporting clients in rediscovering balance, purpose, and joy in their lives and careers. Joy's mission is to help people embrace their authentic selves, build resilience and confidence, and create meaningful, sustainable wellbeing. She is currently accepting new clients for in-person sessions in Guelph and virtual appointments.
